Costume Sale at Swansea School of Dance
Come and get inspired for Hallowe’en! All costumes $5.

For the 4th year, the Swansea partners* are teaming up to organise their community cheering station on the Scotiabank Marathon race route and we invite you to join in the fun! We need to cheer on our Champions Kate, Sheryl, John and Michael and prove that our community cheers the best again as we defend last year’s first prize title!!
Date and Place: THIS Sunday, October 16th; Lakeshore Blvd. & Windermere Ave.
7:30 a.m. – Volunteers arrive to decorate the site (everyone welcome….we need many hands to make light work! We will give volunteer hours to high school students!)
8:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.– Spectators arrive
9:00 a.m. and shortly after – The runners start running from downtown and our SWANSEA ENTERTAINMENT starts
FLASHMOB – the first ever Swansea Flash Mob….be a part of the dance! Learn the Flash mob dance (or try the easy version….just learn last minute of the song!)
This week our choreographers Michelle and Rachael are holding FREE LIVE rehearsals: Practice in person with Michelle and Rachael!

8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 12th upstairs @ the Swansea Legion, 72 Durie Street at Deforest (with Michelle) OR
8:30 p.m. Thursday, October 13th, Light up the Floor Studios, 80 Advance Rd. Etobicoke, ON, M8Z 2T7 (with Rachael)
9:15 a.m. – Runners start running by our cheering station, so we all start CHEERING!
Free Food and Drinks provided by COBBS Bread, Cheese Boutique and Starbucks! Massages by Swansea Massage Clinic! Cruise Car Display!
Access: walk from the Queensway if you can as the roads will be blocked from 5 a.m.
