Parent Information Session – Tackling Bullying and Other Obstacles to Kids’ Learning & Well-being

On Wednesday Feb. 6th at 7PM, Swansea PS welcomes Jennifer Kolari of Connected Parenting for an informative evening on how to help children surmount anxiety, bullying and other related barriers to learning. Drawing from her vast experience as a child and family therapist and as a mom, Jennifer will empower parents with tools to connect with their kids, help them overcome social and emotional challenges, and transform negative behaviours to positive ones. The presentation will emphasize the importance of empathy and how it can be used effectively as a powerful way to help children grow and to strengthen your relationship with them as parents.
