World Math Day – Tuesday, March 1

World Math Day is an international event that is carried out over the entire world starting on March 1st in Auckland New Zealand.  Because the host city is 14 hours ahead of Toronto, World Math Day actually begins on February 28, 2011 in Toronto.

Students have been registered under the Swansea Public School Banner.  Every time a student from Swansea logs in under their given username and password, they will be accumulating points which will go towards our schools standing!  The competition is completely free and every student has been registered! Before the competition students will be given a username and password. They will have an opportunity to do this at school but they may also log in at home continue to participate.

There are five levels of 20 games per level.  Each game lasts for 60 seconds.  Once a student has completed 100 games, no more points can be accumulated.  Each time a student competes no matter if they win or lose all the right answers will be put towards Swansea P.S.!

So get on-line and let’s put Swansea on the map mathematically!!!!
